Imagine: In the next 10 minutes, 10 innocent children, women or men in some of the poorest neighbourhoods on Earth will die violent, preventable deaths.

Project Ploughshares is working towards establishing controls to stem the massive flow of illicit small arms and light weapons through a strong, international and legally binding Arms Trade Treaty.

This process has been years in the making and a treaty is in sight.
