Response of the Hon. Beverley Oda, Minister of International Cooperation, to the Canadian Council of Churches' letters on Afghanistan. These include the CCC's January 2008 response to the Manley Panel as well as letters sent in June 2007 and August 2007.
Submissions to the Panel
The Afghanistan Reference Group (ARG), a network of Canadian civil society organizations (including Project Ploughshares) and individuals interested in peace, justice and development in Afghanistan co-convened by CPCC and CCIC, provided
three submissions to the panel:
1) Security and Peace
2) Human Rights, Gender Equality
3) Humanitarian Assistance, Development and Governance

The Canadian Council for International Co-operation provided a letter and submission to the panel.
Prior to this, the ARG had prepared briefing notes as background for members of parliament:
